On October 8, 2021 Brian Monroy, 18, was arrested, charged with the murder of Eric Deese, 19. Eric was killed in a shooting on Farmington Ridge Parkway Charlotte, NC on October 5, 2021.
A 17-year-old juvenile male has also been charged with the murder. Eric was shot and killed on October 5, 2021 close to midnight. Eric was shot and killed near a home. Eric was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of continued investigation, homicide detectives identified Brian and the juvenile as suspects in this case, and warrants were issued for their arrest.
Brian is charged with murder.
The juvenile male is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
