28-year-old Akeila Ware was shot and killed on October 5, 2021 in Troup County, Georgia. Akeila was 33 weeks pregnant when she was tragically murdered. She also had 5 kids.
Akeila was driving on Highway 18 alone when another vehicle pulled up beside her and fired several shots at her. Akeila was shot several times and her vehicle drove off the road into a ditch.
Akeila was found inside the crashed car around 1 p.m. Her car was riddled with bullet holes. Akeila and her unborn baby died from the shooting.
Akeila was a registered nurse and a mother to five children.
