TEEN MURDERED AT NORTH CAROLINA HIGH SCHOOL DURING STABBING

Delvin Ferrell, 15, was murdered on November 27, 2023 at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School in Raleigh, NC during a fight. 14-year-old Tyquan General has been charged with murder in this case. 

A fight took place at the school during school hours between Tyquan, Delvin, and a 16-year-old student. All involved were students at the school. Tyquan is accused of stabbing Delvin multiple times, Delvin died in the school hallways.

The 16-year-old student was stabbed too, allegedly by Tyquan. Paramedics arrived and took Delvin and the other student to the hospital. The second student survived.

Blood filled the hallway after the stabbings.

The school was put on lock down until the end of the school day. Police searched the school and investigated the scene. Some parents rushed to pickup their kids.

Classes at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School were canceled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Counselors are available to students and staff at the school. A balloon release is scheduled for Wednesday in honor of Delvin’s life.

Delvin enjoyed sports and video games.
