23-year-old Alexander Weah was shot and killed by police on August 5, 2022 in Clemmons, NC. Alexander was a suspect in the homicide of James Hinson, 31, in Charlotte, NC. The men were reportedly disputing over a woman.
Alexander was engaged to a woman. The same woman also knew James. On August 3, 2022 James was shot and killed at apartments near West Blvd. on Nobles Avenue Charlotte, NC. James had 2 children. Alexander was identified as a suspect in the homicide, but he was no where to be found.
On August 5, 2022 Alexander was located by cops at a gas station in Clemmons, NC. Alexander was confronted by cops and was subsequently shot and killed by armed officials.
The circumstances for Alexander’s death will be investigated by the district attorney and the State Bureau of Investigation.
