Selvin was shot and killed during a murder in March 2021 at a cookout. A barbecue party was occurring at an apartment complex. Andy and others got into an argument with Selvin.

Andy left the party but came back later that night to confront Selvin. Andy and Mario were accused of shooting Selvin dead and even chasing him inside his apartment unit.

Selvin died on scene. Andy and Mario were later arrested charged with murder. However, Mario’s charges were dropped by prosecutors due to lack of evidence. Andy was later convicted of the murder in July 2026.

Andy’s attorney immediately filed an appeal to overturn the murder conviction.
