Detectives with the police homicide unit have charged Jamal Harris, 24, and a 17-year-old juvenile male in connection with the Charlotte, NC murder of Joshua Hollingsworth, 20. The suspects were arrested on July 1, 2021.
Hollingsworth was shot and killed on June 29, 2021 on Mayfield Terrace Drive Charlotte, NC around 11:45 p.m.
Detectives identified Jamal and the 17-year-old juvenile as suspects. Jamal is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The juvenile has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Hollingsworth formerly attended West Charlotte High School as a student athlete.
