On June 30, 2021 Kassceen Weaver, 49, and 48-year-old Dina Weaver were arrested after their son Eliel Weaver was found dead in a freezer in Chesterfield County, VA. Eliel was believed to of been dead in the freezer for 2 and a half years.
Although the parents were recently arrested, Eliel’s body was first found by investigators on May 4, 2021. Officers received a tip that a child’s dead remains may be inside a home.
Police got a search warrant and found Eliel’s dead body inside the freezer.
The young body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where the child was identified as Eliel Weaver. Kassceen and Dina both lived in the home where Eliel was found dead.
Another child lived in the home too; that child is now in foster care. Authorities say that Eliel’s body was in the freezer for nearly 2 and a half years.
Kassceen and Dina are charged with conspiracy to conceal a body and failing to render aid to a child.
