Charles was shot near uptown Charlotte at the intersection of North Graham St. and West 24th St. around 5:30 p.m.
Paramedics were called and then transported Charles to an area hospital. Sadly, Charles died at the hospital.
On Thursday, January 5, 2023, detectives with the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Cedric charging him with murder in the 1st degree and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
