Brian Monroy, 18, is charged with the murder of Eric Deese, 19. A 17-year-old juvenile male has also been charged with the murder. Eric was killed on Farmington Ridge Parkway Charlotte, NC.
As a result of continued investigation, homicide detectives identified Brian and the juvenile as suspects in this case, and warrants were issued for their arrest.
On October 8, 2021, detectives with the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located and arrested Brian charging him with murder.
The juvenile male was also arrested and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
