On Tuesday, December 12, 2023 Tyvon Dunlap, 18, was arrested accused of the Charlotte, NC murder of Kadeem Lamont, 25. Charlotte Alerts is now on Instagram.
Kadeem was shot and killed in a homicide on November 16, 2023 at apartments located on Villa Court.
Kadeem was shot at 11:30 p.m. He was in the parking lot of the apartment complex when he was shot by a suspect. The suspect fled. Paramedics pronounced Kadeem deceased on scene.
Kadeem was a photographer from Georgia. He was in Charlotte for business.
Almost a month later the Charlotte Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested Tyvon in Greenville, SC.
Homicide detectives traveled to Greenville to interview Tyvon. At the conclusion of the interview, the suspect was charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
