Mecklenburg County Sheriff Deputy Francisco Ramos, 53, was arrested on April 22, 2026 in Mint Hill, NC accused of pushing and tackling his wife Christine Ramos at their residence.
Deputy Ramos was on duty when he learned of a family emergency. He subsequently left to return home, where the domestic violence incident occurred.
Deputy Ramos and his wife began arguing over the family emergency. Christine then pushed him. Deputy Ramos pushed his wife back and tackled her, breaking a door.
Christine called police. Deputy Ramos was arrested even though his wife hit him first.
