So here is how it all happened. Mariah’s daughter was being bullied at Randolph Middle School for months. Mariah says she went to the school multiple times and even had meetings with Principal Schroeder, but not enough was done, as Mariah’s daughter was still being bullied.
And then on May 5, 2025, Mariah’s daughter was jumped on by a few kids in a scuffle. Mariah’s daughter called her mom to tell her about the fight.
Mariah, Trinity, and other family members then came to the school together to take matters into their own hands.
The family group is accused of becoming very argumentative with school administrators and entering the school without authorization.
Mariah is then accused of grabbing Area Superintendent Jennifer Dean with both hands around her neck and choking her. School staff had to pull Mariah off of Mrs. Dean.
Mrs. Dean almost lost consciousness and she had a hard time breathing. Mrs. Dean had visible signs of injury around her neck. The fight at the school caused the school to be placed on lock down.
Mariah and Trinity were arrested by responding officers. A few weeks after the assault, Principal Schroeder was suspended on May 20th with pay. It is unclear what the principal was actually suspended for.
And then on July 1, 2025 Principal Schroeder quit her principal job, turning in her resignation. Mariah has a history with making the news on Charlotte Alerts. She was featured in our too pretty for jail series a few times.
