On Saturday, March 25, 2023 one victim was murdered during a double shooting shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Officers responded to a double shooting into an occupied dwelling call on Cherrycrest Lane Charlotte, NC.
This is the second murder this weekend, Jaimeo Simpson was murdered at a cemetery on Friday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds. Medic transported one victim to Atrium Main Hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
The second victim was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
