Alcohol intoxication led to sextuple shooting and one person killed near clubs
On July 13, 2025 a homicide occurred that involved a sextuple shooting in uptown Charlotte, NC on North College Street near several clubs. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 2 a.m., several people were drunk and fighting. Shots were fired and 6 people total were shot, one of the victims died on scene.
The shots sent party goers running into alleys and under cars. Three additional victims were transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds by ambulance.
Two other victims were shot and self transported to the hospital. Just last week 2 people were killed at a 4th of July party shooting.
