The fatal collision was in the middle of morning rush hour traffic. One person was killed in the crash. 4 people were injured.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people with life threatening injuries were transported to the hospital. Two other people had minor injuries and were transported via ambulance to Atrium Health Hospital.
