On March 5, 2023 one person was killed in a deadly wreck on Interstate 485 in Charlotte, NC near Albemarle Road.
The crash occurred around 8 p.m. on the inner loop of I-485. Paramedics arrived on scene and one person was pronounced deceased.
Traffic was diverted onto Harrisburg Road for all the inner loop traffic.
