NEPHEW PLEADS GUILTY TO KILLING UNCLE IN DWI CRASH

In June 2026 Dimas Ramirez, 24, admitted to killing his uncle Abigail Ramirez Romero, 39, in Charlotte, NC during a DWI car crash.

Abigail was killed in a vehicular collision on February 10, 2024 on Central Ave. Charlotte, NC. The crash was on Feb. 10th at 1:45 a.m. and involved a Chevrolet and a Honda. Abigail was a passenger in the Chevrolet.

The Chevrolet was driven by Dimas, he was intoxicated. Dimas ran a red light and collided with a Honda. The collision knocked the Chevy around and upside down, killing Abigail.

Abigail was ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the Chevrolet ran away from the crash. Dimas was later arrested he was drunk with an blood alcohol concentration of 0.17.

In June 2026 Dimas pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter, no operator’s license, operating a vehicle with no insurance and reckless driving to endanger. He was sentenced to 64 to 89 months in prison.
