MURDER, VICTIM SHOT IN UNIVERSITY AREA DIES ON SCENE

On June 29, 2022 a victim was murdered in a shooting on Westbury Lake Drive Charlotte, NC.

At 1:30 a.m., a victim was shot at a residence. The victim was in life threatening condition. Paramedics were in route and arrived, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect in this case remained on scene. No additional suspects are being sought at this time. 9 people have been shot and killed in Charlotte in less than a week.

A man was murdered on Merry Oaks Road.

Daishawn Bessent, 18, was murdered in a shooting at a residence on June 27th.

A baby and 4 people were shot with an AK-47 in west Charlotte on June 27th.

16-year-old Jeferson Landaverde was murdered on June 21st.

A baby was killed after being shot on Saturday night, another 7-year-old child was shot also.

A woman was shot and murdered on Dinglewood Ave. on June 25th.

A man was murdered in a double shooting in uptown Charlotte on East Trade Street.

On June 26, 2022 a man was murdered on Neal Road.
