MURDER CHARGES DISMISSED ON ALL 3 SUSPECTS AFTER MAN KILLED

Murder charges have been dropped on all 3 suspects arrested, and accused of murdering 23-year-old Kenneth Edwards in Charlotte, NC. The suspects were Calvin Vance, 29, Naytrone Adams, 25, and Tobias Partlow, 29. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Kenneth was shot to death on Roadway Street back in December 2017. At the time that was the city’s 81st homicide for 2017.Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon 911 call. Authorities arrived and pronounced Kenneth deceased on scene.

Nearly a year later on September 5, 2018 Calvin, Naytrone, and Tobias were all arrested charged with murdering Kenneth.

But in September 2019 after another year went by, prosecutors decided to drop the murder charges on all 3 of the suspects.

All of the murder charges were dismissed by the District Attorney’s Office without leave and with no plea agreements made.

Kenneth’s brother Fred Edwards was murdered on Christmas Day 2021 in a triple shooting
