MURDER CHARGES DISMISSED IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE

Ibn Marshall, 17, and Anu’bius Smith, 19, were killed in a double murder on Grandin Road Charlotte, NC. But the suspects charged with the double homicide have had their murder charges dismissed by the Mecklenburg County district attorney. The suspects are Furqan Grice, 23, and Anthony Goodson, 23.

On February 27, 2019 Ibn and Anu’bius were located in a vehicle shot dead. A third man was also shot, but survived.Drugs were found on the scene. Furqan and Anthony were labeled as suspects and were arrested one day later on February 28th.Both suspects were charged with murder. But several years later before the case even went to trial, prosecutors with the Mecklenburg County district attorney’s office dismissed the murder charges against Furqan and Anthony without leave. Murder charges were dismissed after a man was murdered on West Sugar Creek.

The suspects did not enter a plea agreement for the charges to be dismissed.
