Jamison Webster, 51, was murdered and stuffed in a vehicle trunk on February 26, 2025 in El Cajon, California. Her son Richard Leyva, 24, was arrested charged with murdering her. Jamison was a home healthcare worker.
Richard has mental health issues, he has acute psychosis and bipolar disorder. Richard had been staying at a Motel 6. His mom Jamison came to visit him. An argument began and Richard stuffed her in the trunk of her vehicle.
Richard’s brother came to the Motel 6 to check on Jamison, the brother opened her trunk and found her there, either dead or unconscious.
Richard then got in the car and nearly ran over the brother. Cops were called and tracked Richard down on the highway, a high speed chase began.
Richard crashed with 2 other vehicles on Interstate 8. Jamison was found in the trunk dead. Richard was charged with murder.
