On January 30, 2025 surveillance video shows a shooting on a Charlotte Area Transportation System CATS bus in Charlotte, NC. Isaiah Johnson, 23, is the accused gunmen. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The two men were on the bus, they got in to an argument over politics. The debate escalated to physical threats and violence.
The suspect is accused of getting in the man’s face and yelling. One of the men is then seen pulling out a gun and shooting at the victim’s feet. The victim was not hit.
The suspect then exited the bus. The incident happened just before 10:30 p.m. along Lawyers Road.
Isaiah was later arrested on Feb. 6th charged with discharging a firearm to incite fear, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a dangerous weapon on city property and assault by pointing a gun.
