MOTHER DIES FROM FENTANYL AND COCAINE OVERDOSE, FOUND DEAD ON TOILET

Shakyra Cureton, 31, died on March 6, 2024 in Charlotte, NC from a cocaine and fentanyl overdose. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.

Shakyra was found deceased sitting on a bathroom toilet. Shakyra had a history of substance abuse.

Upon being found, Shakyra did have minor blunt force injuries that included contusions on her scalp and her lips, but no foul play is suspected in Shakyra’s death.

Drug paraphernalia was found on the scene. After death findings show that Shakyra had deadly amounts of cocaine, fentanyl, and ethanol in her blood stream.

Shakyra’s cause of death was fentanyl, cocaine, and ethanol toxicity. Shakyra was a mother with 4 kids.

In December 2022 Shakyra said she was involved in a bad car accident in which her vehicle caught on fire. Shakyra admitted to drinking and driving, being selfish to the point of not caring about her kids in her brief state of intoxication.

Fentanyl drug overdose continues to be the leading cause of drug deaths in the United States.

Shakyra was driving on the highway and was involved in a crash. The collision started a fire in the vehicle with Shakyra trapped inside, her leg was stuck between the gas and the brake. She was rescued by EMS.

Shakyra’s grandmother Diane Locklear, 49, died in May 2007, Diane was an accountant at Sonic Automobile Group.
