A woman died from a long cancer battle that took away her hair. The cancer left and came back. Yet she is not having a funeral
Apryl Davis, 45, died on February 1, 2026 in Charlotte, NC. Apryl died from cancer. Apryl had children. Cancer deaths have plagued Charlotte.
Apryl was diagnosed with cancer years ago. She received treatment and the cancer left. Apryl went on to live a normal regular life.
But the cancer returned, making her weak and taking her hair away. Apryl received treatment again. The cancer was more fierce and aggressive the second time around. Apryl was given a 3 month life expectancy due to the cancer.
Sadly Apryl died at the hospital from her cancer. Oddly enough the family is not having a funeral for Apryl because while Apryl was still alive she requested in her will that she did not want a funeral because it would make her kids, family, and friends sad.
