On August 12, 2021 34-year-old Brandon Hedrick was killed in the toll lanes of I-77 in Cornelius, NC. 22-year-old Rymyr Quarles is charged with the murder.
At 6 a.m. on August 12th a state trooper stopped to check an abandoned vehicle call on Interstate 77. The state trooper found Brandon dead in An SUV via a gunshot wound.
Medic arrived and pronounced Brandon dead on the scene.
On August 13, 2021, detectives with the Cornelius Police Department developed information that led to the arrest of Rymyr.
