On June 20, 2024 Divee Cunningham, 27, was arrested charged with the murder of David Mcneil, 44, in Charlotte, NC.
David was murdered on March 22, 2024 on Brookshire Boulevard. Shortly after 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a victim that had been ran over. Upon arrival, officers located David, he had been struck by a vehicle. David was pronounced deceased on scene. Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim had injuries that were not consistent with the crash. Based on witness statements and additional evidence at the scene, preliminary information indicates that David was mortally wounded prior to collapsing in the street and then being run over a short time later.
After an investigation Divee was arrested 3 months later and charged with David’s homicide.
