Corey Black, 60, died on November 5, 2022 after being beat in an unprovoked attack in Charlotte, NC. Corey died at the hospital months after being randomly attacked.
Corey was hit in the head on July 24, 2022 on Randolph Road in Charlotte. Corey was in the middle of a exercise walk. A male suspect approached Corey and hit him multiple times with a blunt object.
The suspect then fled in a black sedan with fake paper tags.
Corey was transported to a local hospital with a major head injury. Corey stayed in the hospital for several months in treatment.
Unfortunately on November 5, 2022, Corey was pronounced deceased due to the injuries sustained in the assault. This case is now classified as an homicide. No suspect has been identified.
