Eric Macken died on August 20, 2024 after getting hit by a car at the intersection of Pineville-Matthews Road and Providence Road Charlotte, NC.
Eric was on foot walking at the intersection on August 19, 2024 in the afternoon when a vehicle collided with him. The collision flung Eric in the air and onto the asphalt.

Eric leaves behind a young child and loving family.
