On July 6, 2021 Dylan Sanders, 21, was shot and killed in a violent apartment shooting on Stoney Trace Drive Mint Hill, NC around 3 a.m.
Multiple 911 calls were made regarding a large disturbance with weapons involved. Several people were located on scene at the apartment complex.
Multiple people were detained. Emergency responders then located Dylan inside an apartment unconscious and on the ground. Dylan had multiple gunshot wounds. He was shot 8 times.
Paramedics arrived and pronounced Dylan deceased on the scene.
Detectives are continuing interrogations and are trying to piece together what took place prior to the shooting. No charges have been filed yet.
All evidence has been collected and the scene is cleared.
