23-year-old Tykari Brown was killed in a shooting on West Boulevard Charlotte, NC on July 21, 2020.
A male victim had been struck by a bullet in a vehicle. He was transported by paramedics to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg. Tykari was also in the vehicle and suffered a gunshot wound. Tykari was slumped over in the vehicle after being shot.
Officers and medics attempted life saving measures including CPR but were unsuccessful; Tykari was pronounced deceased at the scene.
