A woman from the street was seen in a sex act with Terry Howard, last woman he was with before he died
Terry Howard, 62, died at The Mecklenburg County Jail on August 31, 2025 located at 801 East Fourth Street Charlotte, NC. Terry was in jail since June 2025 accused of receiving oral sex from a woman at a dog park.
On June 10, 2025 a man and his wife were driving when they saw a man and woman having sexual relations at the Ninth Street Dog Park located at 417 West 9th St. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Terry was receiving oral sex from a unidentified female in broad daylight. The man and his wife that saw the occurrence took a picture of the hot encounter and called 911.
The woman was gone by the time 911 emergency arrived, but Terry was arrested charged with crime against nature. Terry was arrested on June 10th and housed at the uptown Charlotte jail. This was the last woman Terry had a sexual encounter with before he died.
On August 31, 2025 at 5:35 am, Terry was found dead in his jail cell by jail guards. A medical emergency was called by a detention officer in the housing unit where the inmate was assigned.
Lifesaving measures were administered on Terry. Jail deaths have doubled under Sheriff Garry Mcfadden and he has shown terrible leadership in managing the jail. Terry was listed as homeless.
Inmate Terry was pronounced deceased at 6:13 am. The jail is known for ignoring inmates in the jail. Even in the suicide watch pod, there is an intercom that inmates can call into for help or if they are feeling sick.
Jail guards will ignore your calls for help when inmates push the intercom, but the jail fails to take responsibility when inmates die in the jail.
