MAN ARRESTED AFTER VICTIM MURDERED NEAR SUGAR CREEK

Charlotte, NC is violent, just within the last 2 weeks 10 people have been shot and killed. On May 4, 2024 Zacharias Lowery, 29, was arrested charged with the murder of James Chambers, 26. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

James was fatally shot on May 2, 2024 on Hoover Rd. at 11 p.m. Paramedics arrived on scene and pronounced James deceased.

Zacharias was arrested two days later and charged with murder and possession of a firearm by felon.

10 people have been killed in the last 2 weeks.

 17-year-old Kaleb Brown was the victim of a violent homicide on April 12, 2024.

Justin Carache-Soto, 21, was murdered on Upas Lane.

Jamal Dade was murdered at the Embassy Suites Hotel.

3 U.S. Marshals were killed along with one cop, one suspect was killed also identified as Terry Hughes.

Bryan Eakin, 21, was the victim of murder also.
