DRUG DEALER GETS YEARS IN PRISON FOR TRAFFICKING COCAINE

In a Charlotte, NC court on March 13, 2024 Christian Sosa-Valdez, 21, was convicted of trafficking cocaine.

Christian dealt drugs in Charlotte. On June 15, 2022, at 09:07 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Christian for a broken taillight on North Sharon Amity Rd. 

Upon further investigation Christian was found to have in his possession large amounts of cocaine and marijuana.

Christian was also accused carrying a concealed firearm without having a valid carry concealed weapon’s permit cops said at the time. Christian was arrested on drug charges. 

At his 2024 trial Christian was tried for trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, and misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun. 

At the close of the prosecutor’s evidence, the judge dismissed the carrying a concealed gun charge. 

But a jury found Christian guilty of trafficking in cocaine and possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine. 

Judge Ervin sentenced Christian to 35-51 months in prison.
