Cedric Young, 25, was arrested on March 21, 2022 charged with the murder of Timothy Mackey, 35. The victim was murdered in Charlotte, NC.
Cedric is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. Timothy was shot on Marvin Road at 2:30 p.m. on March 21, 2022; friends drove the victim to a safe location away from the gunshots. An ambulance was called and then rushed Timothy to the hospital.
Emergency care was given to Timothy, but he didn’t make it and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Timothy was a father, and leaves behind several kids that will miss him.
