Fred Dunlap, 79, was murdered in his own back yard, his son 21-year-old Desmond Dunlap was arrested on July 25, 2024 charged with Fred’s murder.
Fred was reported missing on July 22, 2024. But two days later on July 24th Fred was found dead buried in the back yard of his home on Bobby Lane, Charlotte, NC.

It appears Fred was beat to death. On July 25th Desmond was arrested charged with Fred’s murder. Desmond was also charged with card theft and obtain property by false pretense.
Desmond lived in the home with his father Fred.
