Homicide detectives have arrested 72-year-old Jeffrey Ferguson charging him with the murder of his wife 65-year-old Sheryl Ferguson in Anaheim, California. Jefferey is a Superior Court judge in Orange County California.
On August 3, 2023, just after 8 p.m., the Anaheim Police Communications Center received reports of a shooting that occurred at a residence on E. Canyon Vista Dr.
Upon officers’ arrival, they located Sheryl inside the residence in a bed suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Sheryl was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers contacted Jeffrey at the location and arrested him charging him with murder. Jeffrey was booked into the Anaheim Police Department’s Detention Facility, he was released after posting a $1 million bail.
Anaheim police confirm firearms and multiple boxes of ammo were removed from the judge’s home. The judge and Sheryl had one son together, the son was 23-years-old.
