JINYA RAMEN BAR GETS 87.50 B HEALTH SCORE, POOR KITCHEN PRACTICES, RAMEN BOWLS IN CLOUDY WATER

An health score of 87.50 B was handed down to Jinya Ramen Bar located on 601 South Tryon St. Charlotte, NC during a food safety inspection. The restaurant was inspected on August 16, 2023.

The health inspector observed limited control over several kitchen practices at Jinya Ramen Bar as evidenced by improper handwashing, improper cooling and methods, and improper holding temperatures.

In fact an employee moved from handling raw chicken to handling ready to eat food in the walk-in cooler and then on the cook line without washing hands.

There was also no soap at the hand sink near the stove.

Deans Italian Steakhouse scored an poor 87.50 B on a food safety inspection located at the brand new JW Marriott luxury hotel

Crispy rice balls were stored at room temperature and had to be discarded. Spicy tuna and salmon in the prep top cooler were at unsafe temperatures above 41F and had to be thrown away.

Ramen bowls were stored in warmer with water that was cloudy. The floor was peeling in several areas throughout the restaurant.

There was a grease build up on the ceiling above the flat top grill. Standing water was on the cook line.
