HIV POSITIVE LADY DIES FROM COCAINE TOXICITY, FOUND DEAD AT ARCHDALE FLATS APARTMENTS

Cocaine toxicity led to Dora Mills, 41, being found dead at the Archdale Flats apartments in Charlotte, NC on March 3, 2025. Dora had HIV. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Dora did not live at the apartments, she climbed over a man’s porch on the first floor. The resident at the apartment saw Dora dead on his porch and called cops.

Medic arrived and pronounced Dora dead on scene. A friend of Dora who is homeless arrived on scene at one point and gave the officers the decedent’s name.

Medic advised that they had dealt with Dora in February 2025 and that she had a known history of HIV and ‘kidney issues’.

A review of medical records showed Dora was HIV positive had a history of polysubstance abuse including cocaine use, anemia, bipolar disorder, and bilateral hydronephrosis with right nephrostomy tube. Her official cause of death is cocaine toxicity.
