GARINGER HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL PLAYER MURDERED DURING HOLIDAYS, SHOT IN HEAD

A basketball player at Garinger High School was murdered on December 3, 2023 on Keswick Avenue Charlotte NC in the heart of the Christmas season. The victim is identified as Johnie McClendon, 14. He was shot in the head.

Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. Johnie was shot at 7:40 p.m. at a residence. Johnie was shot in the head. Paramedics arrived on scene and the victim was pronounced deceased. No arrests have been made.

A teenager was murdered by another student on school property in North Carolina

Johnie was on the basketball team, and he was loved by many.
