A 63-year-old pastor was murdered in a wooded area on Belmeade Drive Charlotte, NC. The victim is identified as Diane Hester Lewis. She has done various pastor and apostle work.
On Saturday, August 5, 2023 at approximately 1:09 a.m., officers responded to Belmeade Drive in reference to a citizen locating a deceased female.
Upon arrival, officers located the deceased female in a nearby wooded area. The dead woman was identified as Pastor Diane. The Crime Scene Search division responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence. After consulting with the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner’s Office, Diane’s manner of death was determined to be a homicide. No arrests have been made. It is not known how long Pastor Diane was dead in the woods, or if she was ever reported missing by her church.
