Things got heated after a hotel bar worker stopped serving this group alcohol
On October 12, 2025 a family group was arrested at the Residence Inn Charlotte Uptown Hotel
located at 404 South Mint Street Charlotte, NC. The group is accused of being drunk and disorderly. The suspects are Kelsey Coleman, 36, Justin Coleman, 42, Deirdre Coleman, 41, and Ryan Coleman, 37. They were all banned from the hotel.

Around 9 p.m. the group was in the bar area of the hotel getting drinks, they were guests at the hotel with rooms.
Employees at the Residence Inn Charlotte Uptown Hotel allegedly saw the group exhibiting irate and disruptive behavior while consuming alcohol at the bar. The hotel made the decision to stop serving the group alcohol.

The group got mad when told they could not have anymore adult beverages, an argument then began with the mentioned guests and the employees.
Police were called. The hotel staff then banned the group from the Residence Inn Charlotte Uptown Hotel permanently. Police then told the group to go to their rooms, get their items, and leave.
After being banned in officer presence, the suspects were refunded by the hotel. The suspects allegedly refused to leave the hotel property.
The suspects allegedly stated they were not leaving the premises and stated they were just going to lay down and stay. Cops then arrested the group charging them with trespassing, some where charged with being intoxicated and disruptive.
Justin is accused of attempting to stop officers from arresting Ryan.
