On February 6, 2022 a drive-by shooting erupted on Umstead Street Charlotte, NC just minutes away from uptown Charlotte. The shooting was at 9 p.m. A vehicle drove on the street and fired off a barrage of gunshots.
The speeding bullets hit four homes and several vehicles. There were reported injuries, but the extent of those injuries is not known right now. Officers responded to the scene to investigate.
Paramedics took several people to the hospital. No arrests have been made.
