Tyron was murdered in a shooting December 17, 2018 on Fisher’s Pond Drive Charlotte, NC.

It took almost 3 years for an arrest to be made in Tyron’s murder. In August 2021 Mario Ramirez-Duarte and Juan were arrested charged with Tyron’s murder.

But in September 2021 prosecutors with the Mecklenburg District Attorney’s Office dismissed the case without leave. Prosecutors will not revisit the case.

There was also no plea agreement made for the charges to be dismissed. However the murder charges for Mario are still in effect.
