Savion was playing basketball when he collapsed and dropped dead on the basketball court. Friends rushed to his aid and 911 was called. An ambulance even came to rush Savion to the hospital, but he was still pronounced deceased.
Savion was majoring in computer science.
Claflin is a Historically Black College University.
