A child was killed during a shooting on August 11, 2022 near Beatties Ford Road on Southwest Blvd Charlotte, NC.
The shooting was around 3 p.m. The juvenile victim was wrestling with other kids. One of the kids had a gun, and the gun accidentally went off and shot the young victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and was pronounced deceased during emergency care. Criminal charges are unlikely.
