3-year-old Carter Jimenez was shot and killed on February 21, 2024 via a self inflicted gunshot wound in Charlotte, NC.
Just before 6 p.m. Carter was at a residence on Eastway Drive. Carter found an unsecured gun and accidentally shot himself in the head.
But unfortunately little Carter died at the hospital during emergency surgery. Carter’s parents were in the middle of a child custody dispute with Carter.
It is unknown what parent Carter was in the presence in when he found the gun and shot himself.
Nevertheless, no arrests have been made yet.
