Veronica Cunningham won $1 million in the lottery while playing online in Charlotte, NC.
She was playing the $10 Million Spectacular Second Chance lottery game. On March 28, 2025 she saw that she won $1 million.
Veronica arrived at lottery headquarters the same day to get her money. Veronica claimed her prize in a lump sum, after taxes she took home $430,500.
Veronica plans to retire this year and to pay off her house with the cash. Veronica has been playing the lottery for years.
After winning the lottery, Veronica said,
