The woman’s skeleton was found in the woods, the man was shot to death
On May 2, 2025 Dejanarell Cherry, 40, pled guilty to two counts of second degree murder. He murdered Lavonda Floyd, 20, and Davyon Farrer, 21, in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Davyon was shot and killed on March 24, 2021 on Beatties Ford Road near a gas station.
Around 11:00 at night Davyon was shot several times near a gas station parking lot. Multiple 911 calls were made. Davyon was found on the ground bleeding profusely, he died on scene.
Mr. Cherry was arrested in 2021 charged with both murders. However, in May 2025 Mr. Cherry pled guilty to murdering Lavonda and Davyon. Judge Eady Williams sentenced Cherry to concurrent sentences of 238-298 months in prison.
