On July 14, 2023 Jerome Davis pleaded guilty to murdering his girlfriend Khira McKinley, 23, in Charlotte, NC. Khira had a 2-year-old child at the time of her death.
Khira was shot and killed on July 4, 2019 while sitting in a vehicle on Oakwinds Court Charlotte, NC. On August 5, 2019 Jerome was arrested and charged with the murder of Khira.
Jerome sat in jail for 4 years awaiting trial. In July 2023 Jerome plead guilty to the second degree murder of Khira. In a deal with prosecutors, Jerome only received 10 years in prison.
He also got credit for 4 years time served, meaning he will now only have to be in prison for 6 years.
