Marvin Watkins, 51, was arrested on December 22, 2025 accused of murdering James McIlwain, 39. The victim was murdered in a shooting on Wallingford Street Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
James was shot and killed on November 22, 2025 at 2 a.m. He died on scene. Marvin was arrested a month later charged with murder and possession of a firearm by felon.
Jayden McIlwain, 16, is the son of James, Jayden was also killed in a shooting earlier in 2025.
